First race done.

Bright sunny sky, 23 C but litte and shifty winds – this was Lake Neusiedler See on day 1 of the Austrian Open 2011. But Andrea, our Principal Race Officer took the chance and sent the fleet to the race area after two hours postponement ashore.

The Estonian girl Kätlin Tammiste took the lead just before the first mark and managed to stay in front till the finish line. Second place went to Jens Eskildsen from Denmark, followed by Victor Silen from Finland. The best Austrian, Helmut Schulz from Lake Wolfgangsee, came fourth.

The start for the next race is scheduled for tomorrow 11.00.
